I planted love.

Here. I decided to plant love in 2017. And it’s expected to grow in 2018.

This is my story of how I planted love. (Disclaimer: It’s a story ~ it contains some fictional elements)

Let’s meet our main characters. Me, A and a boy, B.

I chose to give away love to everyone in 2017. Among other things, this happened:

B reacted to my love this way. He was willing to give me his heart. He was in love.

I… I was just spreading love as I have before.

I was supposed to give love. Give pieces of my heart. Not others giving me theirs. And not just pieces, we’re talking whole heart here. Scary.

B used his magic until I have fallen under his spell.

See, for a moment, it was a love story.

Just for a moment.

While we were both holding the box of love, our hearts merged. And right after that, B took his piece back and changed his mind. So I was left there all confused.

My mind finally started working and I started chasing after B. Chasing and chasing and chasing…

Until I realized I got totally immersed in all that was happening to my heart that I forgot to think. I forgot about the world around me. And I forgot to give love to others. Damn it, heart. You should have known better.

So I stopped. It’s today. It’s the moment when the story stops writing itself because I take the pen in my hands.

Yeah. That happens. Of course, it happens, my heart doesn’t want to give up just like that. Until it has a last strand of hope, it’s sure, things are gonna change. Oh.

I put my heart down and give my mind a chance to think.

Yes, an idea! Let's do this!

I chose an awesome spot and dug a hole. Then, I took the broken heart into my hands.

And put it back together.

If I am giving love by myself I can only give it to that many persons. But if I had a little help…

If I planted love with all my heart. And if it grew… Everyone who tasted sweet fruits of love could share it further. Not only this, you know, there are tiny seeds in these delicious fruits. And as they fall onto the fertile ground, they may as well contribute to spreading love.

This is it for 2017. But wait,

maybe in 2018, this happens:

I can’t wait to see it. How love grows. See, my heart not only got put together, it’s now on a mission to grow even bigger.

I wish you receive a lot of love in the upcoming year and I hope you choose to try one of these amazing fruits (and feel its effect as your heart grows and starts to share even more love with others as it already has).

Happy 2018!
